Together with Local Communities and Society

Basic Concept of Contribution Activities to Local Communities and Society

Under the mission of "Change People, Change Business, Change Japan." (Changing people, changing organizations, changing Japan), we aim to realize a sustainable society through various businesses with the vision of "Changing Productivity."

In Japan, which faces complex and diverse social issues amidst a significant decrease in the working population due to a declining birthrate and aging population, it is necessary to change people and transform businesses, including industrial structures, to dramatically enhance the productivity of individuals and Japan as a whole for a socially and economically rich life.

In the Mid-term Business Plan announced in February 2021, CHANGE announced that it would expand its business focus from supporting large enterprises in the Tokyo metropolitan area to supporting companies and organizations in all regions, including small and medium-sized enterprises outside the Tokyo area, which account for 70% of GDP.
Based on this expansion, in order to create a sustainable future for the region, we will build new alliances that involve companies, organizations, and even residents under the value of "Regional Co-creation," which not only expands business but also leads to solving social issues, together with like-minded partners.

Internship Activities

Our Group continuously implements internship programs with the aim of having university and graduate students, who will lead the next generation, proactively perceive the significance of working.
This program is characterized by its "business participation type," where participants join actual ongoing projects, rather than being a briefing session or event-type internship. Participants gain opportunities to proactively grasp the meaning of work and their connection to society through involvement in the transformation of customer operations and business models.
Furthermore, we do not conduct uniform selection or rigid period settings; instead, we flexibly accept applicants according to each individual's interests and characteristics. We will continue to work on nurturing future leaders through intensive employment experiences.

The overview of the acceptance status of interns in our Group is as follows.

Promoting Local Sports and Supporting Educational Settings Through Dance

CHANGE RAPTURES utilizes dance, which is highly popular among young people, to promote sports in the region and support educational settings, primarily in Kochi Prefecture, with which it has a partnership agreement, and Toshima Ward, Tokyo, its hometown.
Today, while dance has become a compulsory subject in school physical education, it faces challenges such as a shortage of instructors and regional disparities in environment, leading to issues like "no one to teach" and "few opportunities for children to experience dance." Particularly in rural areas, including mountainous regions, and urban schools, there is a demand for high-quality instruction and continuous learning opportunities.
To address these social issues, CHANGE RAPTURES focuses on creating an environment where children can easily enjoy dance in their local communities and solving common sports and cultural education challenges in regional communities. This is achieved through in-class workshops and dance performances during visits to schools and local events in Kochi Prefecture, remote instruction utilizing ICT such as online lessons, and producing dance works to be showcased at dance lives, experience sessions, sports festivals, and events at elementary schools in Toshima Ward.

Activities to Promote Local Employment

As part of activities to promote local employment, Toko Computer Service Co., Ltd. conducts programming exercise experiences for junior high and high school students in Odate City.
Additionally, as an in-school Hello Work (employment assistant center in schools), it explains its business activities to junior high school students. Furthermore, it participates in the job fair for junior high school students held by the Kitaakita Promotion Bureau in Kitaakita City and Odate City, where it provides company explanations.

Initiatives for Promoting Neurodiversity

ID Route Consulting Inc. has been participating in the Neurodiversity Research Group since FY2025. The research group is promoting initiatives to create a workplace environment where individuals with developmental disabilities can thrive by leveraging their characteristics.
As part of this, ID Route Consulting Inc. conducted a 5-day work experience internship for students with developmental disabilities in August 2025.

Support for CHANGE HOLDINGS Hayabusa Racing Activities

The Company supports the activities of CHANGE HOLDINGS Hayabusa Racing as a sponsor.
CHANGE HOLDINGS Hayabusa Racing is a student team from Tokyo challenging the STEM Racing World Championship. STEM Racing is an international STEM competition that recreates the world of F1, involving the design and production of mini racing cars, data analysis, marketing, and sponsorship acquisition, competing for the top position in the world.
We formed this team with the desire to "compete globally and nurture talent that represents Japan." We have challenged the world championship in the past and experienced defeat. From that frustration, we have set the goal of "proving that Japanese students can also stand at the top of the world" and are building a team to win.
However, our challenge is not just about winning races. Under the vision of "Ignite The Future," we are working on nurturing the next generation of talents, including ourselves, through the promotion of STEM Racing. We also aim to leverage this experience to connect to entrepreneurship and innovation. It is a place to gain the power to open up the future, beyond the framework of a mere student competition. That is CHANGE HOLDINGS Hayabusa Racing.
From Japan to the World, and into the Future, we will continue to challenge.

Contribution to Local Communities and Disaster Support

Volunteer Activities

Our group companies operate a "Volunteer Leave System" to support employees' opportunities to deeply engage with local communities and experience on-site issues, under the vision of "creating self-reliant and sustainable communities."
In addition to disaster recovery and social welfare, we widely support participation in traditional events and regional revitalization events of partner municipalities. We grant special leave (paid) and provide subsidies for company-certified regional contribution activities. Furthermore, we have established a donor leave system that can be used for bone marrow donation and other donor registrations/donations, aiming to balance social contribution and health maintenance.

Disaster Recovery Support through "Furusato Choice Disaster Support"

"Furusato Choice Disaster Supportexternal link" is a system that utilizes hometown tax donations to solicit donations for the recovery and reconstruction of disaster-affected municipalities during disasters.
The platform is provided free of charge to municipalities nationwide, regardless of contract status, allowing municipalities to report disaster situations and examples of donation utilization on the site, and donors can send support messages along with donations to the disaster areas.

Based on the Mid-term Business Plan announced in February 2021, our Group positions "Regional Coexistence" as a key area of community contribution.
In addition to support through donations, we are also working to create value as a system.

Fostering a Culture of Donation and System Building

Support for End-of-Life Care Association Activities

For issues in local communities, in addition to support through donations and systems, it is also important to foster relationships where people notice and interact with each other in daily life.
Since 2015, we have been supporting the activities of End-of-Life Care Association external link by providing secretariat support and free office space.
The End-of-Life Care Association has named the mindset and ways of relating to those who suffer, cultivated in hospice settings dealing with limited life, so that one can remain calm even having difficult suffering like death or illness, as "Universal Hospice Mind." They are developing education in schools, companies, and communities so that everyone can practice this.
To date, over 100,000 people have participated in the program, and these initiatives are fostering the ability to notice suffering and support each other, leading to the prevention of loneliness and isolation, and the creation of a cycle of support in the community.
