CHANGE Group has been transforming our business structure through our ESG initiatives and will create a sustainable society.

Since our founding in 2003, our Group has been promoting business under the mission of "Change People, Change Business, Change Japan." The goal beyond this "Change (transformation)" is to co-create a sustainable society with various stakeholders.

Transformation itself is a means to create a better society, but not an end. However, we cannot ignore the reality in which capitalism which has been long supported by "mass production, mass consumption, and mass disposal" can no longer maintain, preserve the global environment, nor protect workers' human rights, and we are compelled to transform ourselves.

Our Group must not only support transformation for our clients, such as governments and companies, but also achieve "self-transformation." I interpret ESG as the framework (framework for thinking) for achieving self-transformation. In other words, ESG is often discussed in the context of investment, but "environment, society, and governance" are the essence of corporate management, and our Group advocates "ESG = Defense and Office," and challenge to implement the concept of ESG in our business itself.

For example, from an environmental perspective, we are building systems that promote regional economic circulation through the use of renewable energy and contribute to strengthening resilience. Originally, we focused on improving productivity through new IT technologies, but we are expanding our business scope into the energy and environmental fields through AI-based energy management systems.

We aim to continuously challenge ourselves to self-transform in order to optimize our business structure to the concept of ESG.
